London Bridge Hotel Recommendation

Last weekend we stayed at the London Bridge Hotel, not a hundred yards from London Bridge Station.

We paid an extra £35 to upgrade to an Executive Room, bringing the total cost to £134.00 including full English Breakfast.

This is a 4-star hotel, and we were very impressed. Unfortunately the lobby was being re-decorated whilst we were there, but everything else was more than fine.

The Executive Rooms are in the new wing of the hotel and it’s a bit of a trek to get there. Take the lift to the first floor, walk to the end of the corridor and go up a few stairs into the new building. Then take the lift to the third floor.

It was well worth the trip though because the room was excellent. It had a high ceiling, an enormous double bed and a funky flat screen TV.

The breakfast was another highlight :-) Sunday morning breakfast goes on until 11:00. Even though we didn’t arrive in the restaurant until just before 11, the cooked breakfast was still excellent. So many times I’ve found the food dried out and horrible even if you arrive on time for breakfast, and even in quite up-market establishments.

So, all in all, a big thumbs up for the London Bridge Hotel.
