I’ve very pleased to say that I exchanged the Racing AX for my lovely Xantia V6 Exclusive this afternoon at BL Autos and Sons. For just over GBP600 I now have a new-second-hand gearbox and all looks to be good for now. Hurrah!

I’ve asked BL Autos and Sons to get the second hand gearbox and fit it to the Xantia. They have received it now, although it seems the end plate was damaged in transit. The supplier is still prepared to offer their 90 day warranty provided BL swap the end plate from the old box. So [...]
