Recently Ruth and I were invited to see an old school friend of mine, Chris Wallace. I hadn’t seen Wally for a long time, so it was good to catch up again.
It was quite bizarre, because Wally had been reading this blog, so his view of my recent life was rather selective
The main event of the day was Afternoon Tea. Wally had read my report of tea at the Dorchester, and had attempted to replicate the entire menu!

Can I just say that the whole thing was completely marvellous in every respect?
