This week I’ve been to Bucharest with Ruth and Shaun. I was working with Shaun and Ruth was on holiday.
We arrived on Sunday late in the evening. Fortunately the Phoenicia Hotel is near the airport.
Monday and Tuesday Shaun and I were working hard, 12 hours each day. Wednesday was easier, and Shaun travelled back to the UK in the afternoon. Ruth and I stayed until Thursday afternoon.
We flew on British Airways, and the flight out was fine. The return flight was delayed somewhat and we had to battle with a headwind all the way home. The seats on the return journey seemed to be much smaller. The armrests were fixed, unlike on the outward leg, and it just made everything a bit more claustrophobic. When the person sitting in front of Ruth decided to recline their seat it made things pretty uncomfortable for her. The return flight felt like it was never ending
Ruth had fun sight-seeing in Bucharest, and I’m sure she will tell you all about it (with lots of photos) on her blog, real soon now
So, all in all a good trip. We finished the job at work and Ruth had a good time. Can’t say fairer than that
