The Wikipedia has just passed the 1,000,000 english articles milestone. Hurrah! I’m pleased to say that I started and contributed to the Uxbridge Tube Station article, amongst others 
It strikes me that contributing to the Wikipedia is like doing charity work or working for a ‘good cause’. I’m certainly pleased to be able to make a contribution, even if it is only copy-editing as it has been recently.
