I was in Hamburg for most of last week, upgrading a customer’s system.

I stayed at the Park Hyatt hotel, which was fabulous, as usual. I have stayed here before, when I was installing the system originally way back in 2001.

In fact, when I installed the system I made several visits to Hamburg. I stayed in several different hotels, including the Novotel. But once I discovered the Park Hyatt I went there when I could

It was good seeing some of the people I knew from my last visit again.

The customer had moved offices in the meantime which meant that I had to use taxis rather than the tube system to get to and from the office.

All in all a very nostalgic week
