I recently popped in to the Alignment Centre in Perivale because the front tyres on the Mercedes are feathering – the wear pattern is unusual.
A quick look at the car revealed that I need new front wheel bearings and new front discs and pads.
I spoke briefly to George Fraser and discs are about £140 each and pads are about £100!
The car has done about 95,000 miles and it’s still on its original discs, so I guess this isn’t too bad really.
