I’m driving around Europe with my Dad this week.
We arrived at Dover just after nine last night for a 21.30 sailing on the Norfolk Line to Dunkerque. Unfortunately they had no record of our booking – the website had crashed whilst we were booking 
I had sent email asking if the reservation was ok and was reassured all was fine. Anyway, the upshot of all this was we had to pay the 59 pounds again – we’ll have to claim a refund next week when we get back 
So, we were the last vehicle on the boat (they were holding the boat for us!)
After that we were ok Colin the sat-nav found the Etap in Dunkerque no problems. It only took us 3 goes to get the PIN entered correctly, then we were in and away (to bed)!

The nice people at the Norfolk Line phoned me whilst we were away to tell me that they had credited the duplicated 59 pounds to my original card, so everything was sorted out before we got back. Well done
